Hujan deras yang mengguyur hampir seluruh wilayah yang ada di kota tangerang sejak selasa sore menimbulkan banjir di beberapa titik diantaranya kecamatan benda, neglasari dan batu ceper, kota tangerang (28/01/2025).
Pantauan wartawan dilapangan, hingga berita ini disebarluaskan, hujan masih berlangsung deras, selain itu titik banjir sudah mencapai ketinggian 50 sampai 60 cm sehingga menggenangi rumah warga.
Namun demikian, belum diketahui jumlah keseluruhan rumah yang mengalami kebanjiran akibat hujan deras tersebut. Kebanjiran akibat hujan lebat bukan merupakan kali pertama terjadi di kota tangerang, namun demikian hingga kini pemerintah masih berupaya untuk mengatasinya dengan membangun drainsase.
Tercatat Pemerintah Kota Tangerang selama tahun 2024 telah merealisasikan pembangunan infrastruktur drainase sebanyak 369 ruas selama tahun 2024. Pembangunan tersebur kian melengkapi jumlah total drainase di Kota Tangerang yang mencapai 3.415 ruas sampai dengan 2024.
Diketahui sebelumnya Penjabat (Pj) Wali Kota Tangerang, Dr. Nurdin, secara resmi menetapkan Status Siaga Darurat Bencana Hidrometeorologi di Kota Tangerang sebagai bentuk waspada terhadap potensi bencana akibat curah hujan yang tinggi.
Pj Walikota Tangerang, Dr. Nurdin juga mengarahkan masyarakat untuk menghubungi Call Center 112 untuk mendapat bantuan pelayanan dari Pemerintah Kota Tangerang.
